Beautiful Colonial-style Beach House with 2000m2 (½ acre) of land on the Nicoya Peninsula

Price: 590.000USD

This beautiful colonial house is located on the Nicoya Peninsula only yards away from the soft and white sand of Coyote Beach, one of the well-kept secrets of Costa Rica. Along the shores of the tropical Pacific the vegetation is diverse, and the climate is hot. If it gets too hot, the distance to the pleasant temperatures of the blue ocean, or the adjustable A/C system of the living room, is short.

Surprisingly, this beach is very unpopulated and untouristed which sometimes gives the impression you are the only one around. The Costa Rican coast protection laws also help keeping the coast green and untouched. No wonder this region is one of the few “Blue Zones” worldwide.

This stone house was built in 2017 in a beautiful colonial style with adobe rooftiles and teak wood. In total there are 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and 3 garages. The total living area is 340m2 or 3660 square feet.

The main house has two stories. The bottom story offers a living room and three bedrooms, a kitchen and two and a half bathrooms. The entire top floor is the master bedroom with a walk-in closet and a master bathroom. The master bedroom has amazing views over the pacific with access to the balcony. From here spectacular sunsets can be observed daily.

The separate house is set up like an apartment. On the top floor there are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room with a balcony that offer equally great views of the coast. The bottom floor consists of the three garages.

A rancho and a separate caretaker room are also available. The property is equipped with Swann surveillance Cameras. A 7-step drinking water filter system has been installed since the property has its own well. Public electricity is also available.

The nearest shopping opportunities are 10 minutes’ drive away but there is a tasty restaurant nearby. The area is very rural and undeveloped which is ideal for escaping the crowds on other beaches of the country.

Most coastal land in Costa Rica is concession land. Which means there is a yearly fee that must be paid to the local government.
